Hi, this is me. I'm a writer, just like you and I've probably been through all of the same struggles you have. Publishing a book is a struggle, isn't it? Procuring a mainstream publisher, let alone a literary agent, is about as hard as winning the lotteries. The majority of them are well and truly up themselves and your single-sided submissions, in all liklihood, are turned over, cut in quarters, stapled and used as scribble pads. You pay out big dollars from your dwindling accounts to have the manuscript edited, proof read or ghost-written and for what? To supply free stationery to lit agents and publishers, that's what.
I'm honest in that I don't charge exhorbitant fees to make your story as readable as I possibly can. I charge either a flat fee of $45.00/hour (or $6.00 per 250 words) and that doesn't alter for editing, proof reading or ghost writing. I don't promise to make your work a Dickens' masterpiece but I'll give it a shot.
What I give you is honesty in opinion and work ethic. If I think your story is crap, I'll save you money by telling you up front. I don't subscribe to long winded boasts or marketing tricks. What you see is what you get.
